PEKO Healthcare & Consulting Services, Inc., provides the placement of trained caregivers to perform companionship, homemaking and personal care services in the privacy of the client’s home or another residential facility. After caregiver placement, we provide care planning and case management to assure quality and continuity of care for our clients and their caregivers.
PEKO Healthcare also assists individuals 18 years and older with physical and/or mental disabilities. Our service goals are to assist mature adults and individuals with disabilities, to maintain their optimum level of functioning, to enhance their quality of life, and prevent premature placement in a restrictive care environment. We accomplish this by offering an array of 24/7 non-medical home support services customized for each individual.
– 2010, Opening
PEKO’s goal of exceeding expectations and providing fully trained, certified, and qualified healthcare professionals to the community began on March 7th, 2010.
PEKO is DCFS certified and a DSCC profider; partnering with Illinois families and communities to help children and youth with special healthcare needs and connect to additional services and resources. PEKO started off by providing services to the Department of Family Health Services of Illinois.
– 2013, New people, new contracts
PEKO allied with Aetna Better Health; a Medicaid managed care organization that is focused on improving health outcomes for those they serve. They also provide health plans across the US. With this partnership, PEKO expanded to over 50 work sites and increased its staff by 300%.
PEKO actively seeks to position the following healthcare professionals: Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, Home Health Aides, Homemakers, Medical Social Workers, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, and Speech Therapists.

PEKO has partnered with healthcare professionals in Michigan to expand on its goal of providing personalized healthcare professionals to diverse communities. We are currently hiring and accepting new contracts in this area.
